Ty for the kit. The wire loom provided does fit a like a glove. Giving the kit 4 stars because there is no instructions provided so for those who have never installed a winch before they wouldn't know how to start.
This is what i had to do myself, and i wish i could upload pictures to make the explanation easier
Mount the Smittybilt control box to the Vice Design bracket, for this simply remove the bracket mounts from the control box and you will use the same little bolts from the control box to secure the bracket to the box (2 bolts)
You will need to replace some of control box wires with the one loom provided by Vice. For that you need to remove the C,B,A and D wires from the control box, (see Smittybilt instructions included with your Winch) , and replace them with the long wire loom included in the Vice kit. Just take 4 bolts from the bottom of the control box and pop the cover out, then replace the wires one at a time to make it easier. I also removed the labels as well from the Smitty wires and ported them over the new wire loom to make the install easier to follow using the same Smitty instructions.
There is also a bracket inside the engine bay that needs to be removed so the Vice bracket can be mounted inside the engine bay. it's only held by 3 bolts and is easy to remove anyways, but should be explained in the instuctions you may need to remove this to clear the Vice bracket.
Asides for no instructions the Kit makes for a clean control box install, so Ty for making this available for us. The kit rocks.
